At Monument Homes, we believe that there’s no one house that fits all. Each home is built to fit the specific requirements of the family which resides within.
By designing your home with us, you will avoid the unnecessary angst of trying to make a project home fit YOUR lifestyle.
With our personal service, we walk with you through the building process, helping to remove the angst which comes with the unfamiliar.
We work with you to help you achieve your dream home, whilst working within your budget. We’ll give you the freedom to choose your finishes, fixtures, and fittings to complete your vision.
Our process
Our six-step building process takes the hard work out of building new homes. Here’s what to expect when building with Monument Homes:
1. Initial Meeting:
Meet with the builder to discuss your project, and see if working together will be a good fit. The builder you meet will be your point of contact throughout your building journey. At this point, we will also prepare a project brief for our design team.
2. Design Stage:
Our designer will get to work drafting a preliminary plan. Once the preliminary plans are ready, we will be able to provide a preliminary quote and inclusions schedule. This stage is when any changes can be made to the plans or inclusions schedule to meet your budget.
3. Proposal Stage:
With your approval, the plans will be completed to “Tender” stage. The plans will be sent out to tender and for engineering, so that we can provide you with a final quote and proposed inclusion schedule for your project. Any final amendments to plans or inclusions can be made at this point to meet your budget.
4. Contract Stage:
Once everything meets your approval, we will prepare your contract and other consultants’ reports in preparation for construction. Once your finance is approved and council approval is complete, we will commence construction.
5. Construction Stage:
This is where things get exciting! We take your vision and build it into reality.
6. Practical Completion & Handover:
Once our contract works are complete, there is only one thing left to do – and that’s to take your keys and move in!
